Job Notification for Librarian, Professional Assistant, Semi Professional Assistant, Library Attendant At Daulat Ram College

Online applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for the following Non-Teaching posts on a permanent basis:

Qualification:-

1. A Master's Degree in Library Science & Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization/digitalization of library.
2. Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

• Candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D degree in accordance with the "University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Librarian/College Librarian subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-

1. The Ph.D degree of the candidate has been awarded in the regular mode
2. The Ph.D thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
3. Open Ph.D viva voice of the candidate has been conducted;
4. The candidate has published two research papers form his/her Ph.D work out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;
5. The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.d work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.

Desirable:- PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or equivalent

Experience:- Officer under the Central/State Govt, PSU, Statutory/ Autonomous Bodies/ University/ College/Institution

OR 

Holding analogous post or

1. With 3 years of service in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade Pay 4600 or 5years experience in the grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent; and
2. At least 7 years experience in Library works in a reputed educational

Age:-	35 years

Qualification:-

Essential:-

 1. M. Lib.Sc./M.L.I. Sc. or equivalent OR Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline and B. Lib. Sc./B.L.I.Sc.

 2. Computer Science paper at Graduate/PG level or Six months Computer Science course from a recognized/registered institution.

Qualification:-

Essential: -

1. Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline OR any other higher qualification. 

2. B. Lib. Sc./B.L.I. Sc. 

3. Course in computer application at Graduate or PG level or 6 months. Computer course from a recognized/registered institution

Qualification:-

Essential:-

1. Passed 10th or equivalent examination from any State Education Board or Government recognized Institution.

2. Certificate in Library Science/Library & Information Science from a recognized Institution. 

Desirable:- Computer as a subject at the secondary level or basic course in Computer from any institution.
