Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar invites application from interested and eligible citizens of India for following Non-Teaching Positions to be filled on a direct basis as per details are given below: 

Post:	Professional Assistant
No of post	01 - (UR)
Pay level	Level 06 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Age Limit	Not exceeding 35 years

Qualification:- 

Essential:

1. i. Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from any recognized University/ Institution with one year experience in the relevant field in a University/ Research establishment/ Central/ State Govt. / PSU and Library of other autonomous institutions.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science from any recognized Institute/ University with three years experience in the relevant field in a University/ Research Establishment/ Central/ State Govt. / PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions

ii. Good knowledge of Computer Application.

Desirable Qualifications:

PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.     

Post:	Library Assistant
No of post	01 - (UR)
Pay level	Level 03 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Age Limit	Not exceeding 30 years

Qualification:- 

Essential:

1.  Bachelor of Library & Information Science/Bachelor of Library Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
2.  English Typing speed of 30 WPM
3.  Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Post:	Library Attendant
No of post	01 - (UR)
Pay level	Level 1 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Age Limit	Not exceeding 35 years

Qualification:- 

Essential:

1. Essential: i. 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board / University. 
2. Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institute.
