Qualification: Essential: 

1.  Bachelor's degree in Information Science Library Science/ Documentation. with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Indian university or from an accredited foreign university.
2. A Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science Documentation with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale from a recognized Indian university or from an accredited foreign university. 
3. Must have cleared in the National Eligibility Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
4.  However, candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with theUniversity Grant Commission (Minimum standards and procedures for the award of Ph.D. (Degree) regulations 2009 subject to the condition of producing a NET exemption certificate as mentioned in Annexure-I shall be exempted from NET: SET for recruitment () Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (AP) based

Performance-Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by RVSKVV as available on the University website (www.rvskVv.net).
