Pay Scale:- L-6, Basic Rs. 35400/- (Thirty-Five thousand four hundred)+ usual allowances.

Upper Age Limit:-

Between 18 and 30 years as of 31-10-2020 (Relaxable 40 years for employees of IGIMS) Age relaxation as per Govt. of Bihar Rule, Le 05 years torSCSL years 1Or EBC (MBCY BC and 03 years for all categories of Female Candidate (Benefits of reservation, age relaxation will be given to Bihar State domicile only and the applicants outside the State of Bihar will not be entitled to the benefits of reservation.

Essential Qualification/ Experience

Essential:-

1. B.Sc. Degree or equivalent from a recognized University: and 
2. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute.

Desirable:-

1.  Two years 'experience of the acquisition of books, periodicals, and documentation work in a library of' standing or repute- 
2. Typing speed of' 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Handicapped candidates will be given the benefits of reservation and relaxation as per the rule of GovL of Bihar). Government Servant shall be given relaxation in age as per Govt.
